Welcome to the new Second Baptist Church website.

                 We believe the Bible teaches that a person can only have a true relationship with God by committing his / her life to Christ.  We also believe that a true relationship to God  is the answer to all life’s problems.  Our priority is to have all people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives.

                 We also believe that we grow in relationship with God by studying his word.   As we grow we begin to live out his truth in our lives.  Therefore, we have adopted as our purpose statement: “Learning and Living the Word of God”.

                 Second Baptist Church of San Angelo is a conservative Southern Baptist church holding to the essentials of orthodox Christianity as well as the Baptist distinctive of believer’s baptism and congregational church government.  We are affiliated with our local association, our state convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
